It is up to the store/merchant to approve your purchase. It can take up to 90 days.  That's because the store needs to be satisfied that no refund, exchange or store credit was issued during their return policy period. All stores/merchants have different return policy periods. The max is 90 days.
When the store pays you, we at Cashback Australia also get paid. You get paid the full advertised % of your purchase

You can check your Cashback account at anytime to see if you have been paid by the store.

You are eligible to be paid,  when your account has at least $11 in it. Payments are made by either PayPal or via bank deposit. Usually within 3 business days.

Make sure you have your PayPal email address or bank details in our system. Login to your account and find the payment information area. You will be asked either for your PayPal id (email address) or bank information. Fill in only one of these fields.   You must request a withdrawal from your account area to be paid.

Rewards are bonus's that you earn when you refer friends to join Cashback Australia. Once your friend that you have referred, spends a certain amount, the reward moves out of pending into your account. And is able to be withdrawn into your PayPal or bank account.

Some common reasons why cashback is declined are:

  • The order was cancelled.
  • The order was returned or partially returned.
  • The order was exchanged or partially exchanged.
  • The order was changed.
  • The order was paid for using a gift code or gift voucher.
  • The order was paid for using Cash on Delivery.
  • The order might have been classified as bulk order from a wholesaler or a travel agent etc.

The order did not comply with the store's cashback policy. To see details on store specific cashback policy please see 'Cashback Terms' section for cashback merchants.

It can take 1 - 7 days for  the cashback to get tracked. In case your transaction was not tracked even after this duration, please raise a missing cashback claim for the transaction which was not tracked by the 9th business day.

Yes, there are stores and offers on which there is no cashback applicable. These will be on the stores website terms and conditions area.

Unfortunately, the cashback process is such that we have to wait for the store to confirm to us that the purchase was not returned or exchanged. Stores/merchants also use this time to validate that the sale has met conditions for earning of cashback.

We constantly work with stores to reduce this wait period. However, just to be on the safe side we inform you that it may usually take up to 7 days for a transaction to be confirmed and tracked. It is up to the store to confirm your purchase.

In addition to the discounts for online shopping that are listed on our website, we also give you an option of earning additional cashback on your online purchases. Stores and offers that have additional cashback can be identified by looking for a cashback labels, like  - "Up to 5% Cashback" or "$ off XX dollar amount purchase" or even "free shipping" offer.
